Impact Awards • Funding what’s next

Investing in the work that moves our communities forward

At All The Hats, we believe some of the most meaningful work happens quietly—by small businesses and nonprofits building, serving, and leading without a spotlight.

The Impact Awards exist to change that. This isn’t “free money.” It’s fuel—meant for a real next step with a real outcome.

Heads up: applicants must attend in person to win.

Two awards. Real momentum.

These awards are designed to fund what’s next—the idea, investment, or resource that helps a business or nonprofit take its next step toward sustainability, growth, and deeper community impact.

Small Business Up to $2,500 Small Business Impact Award
Nonprofit Up to $2,500 Nonprofit Impact Award

Application requirements

Simple on purpose. But it’s real: you’ll need a clear plan, and you’ll need to show up.

To be considered, you must
  • Submit an application by March 1
  • Attend the All The Hats Conference in person (applicants must be present to win)
  • Submit either a short video OR a written essay
Choose your format
  • Option 1: Short video (2–3 minutes). Phone recording is fine. Story > polish.
  • Option 2: Written essay (500–750 words). Clear, honest, and specific.
  • Your story: who you are and what led you here
  • Your impact: who you serve and how it matters
  • The next need: what this funding unlocks
  • Why it matters: who benefits and how
  • Why now: why this moment matters

Ready to throw your name in the hat?

Bring your story. Bring your plan. Bring your boots to the conference floor. We’ll handle the spotlight—just for a moment—so your work can keep moving after the lights go out.
